This simple yet delicious veg recipe is a perfect lunchbox menu and goes very well with some hot Phulkas/Chapatis. ake this delicious recipe for your loved ones and let us know in the comment section below.<br /><br /><br />Ingredients:<br /><br />- 3 tbsp oil<br />- Asafoetida(Hing)<br />- 1 tsp Mustard seeds<br />- 5 Green Chillies(slit)<br />- 8-10 Curry leaves<br />- 3 onions(chopped)<br />- 1/2 kg Broad beans(Ghevda)<br />- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder<br />- 1 tsp Goda masala<br />- 1/2 tsp Garam masala<br />- salt<br />- Water<br />- 1 tbsp Jaggery<br />- 1/2 Lemon juice<br />- 1/2 cup grated coconut<br /><br /><br />Method:<br /><br />1. Heat oil in a pan, and then add asafoetida, mustard seeds for tempering<br /><br />2. Once mustard seeds are tempered, add slit chillies from the top along with curry leaves, onions<br /><br />3. Saute it till the onions turn pink <br /><br />4. Add Broad beans(ghevda) and saute it more for around 2-3 minutes and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, goda masala, garam masala<br /> <br />5. Mix well and add salt accordingly with water<br /><br />6. Now, Close the lid and let it cook on gas on medium flame and also keep sauteing in the middle<br /><br />7. After cooking for around 10 minutes add jaggery, lemon juice, grated coconut<br /><br />8. Now, Mix it and let it cook in steam for another 2 minutes<br /> <br />9. Take it out in a serving bowl and garnish it with some grated coconut<br />
